Abstract


This study develops the SIR model, first introduced by Kermack and McKendrick in 1926. In this mathematical model of the distribution of electric cigarettes (vape) using the SCIR model with assumptions and class groupings, namely susceptible class (S), try class (C), infected/addicted class (I), and recovery class (R). This e-cigarette spread model aims to provide an overview or other information about how the dynamics of e-cigarette addiction spread. The research method used is a quantitative descriptive literature study. In this type of research, materials were obtained from sources from bibliography and books relevant to this research. From the model and the assumptions formed, two equilibria are obtained, namely the equilibrium point free of E-cigarette addiction  = (????, 0,0,0) which is asymptotically stable locally when the value of the Basic Reproductive Number ( ) < 1, and the endemic equilibrium point which is locally asymptotically stable under certain conditions.
