Abstract


The existence of online learning makes students and teachers have to adapt to technology. There are various problems in online learning when students do not focus on learning and students' understanding of concepts is low. Therefore, there is a need for learning media innovations that can overcome these problems. One of them is a flipbook-based science e-module. The purpose of this study is to determine the improvement of understanding of science concepts by using a flipbook-based e-module. This type of research is Class Action Research (PTK) which consists of four stages, namely, planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The research instruments used are observation sheets and test sheets. The subjects of the study were 32 students of class VIII C MTs Negeri 2 Kota Magelang. The results of quantitative data show that the use of flipbook-based science e-modules can improve students' understanding of physics concepts. This can be seen from the results of understanding the concept of science in students experienced an increase each cycle, they are I to cycle II by 11%, from cycle II to cycle III by 21%. The use of flipbook-based e-modules can increase student learning activities and students are motivated in learning science
