Abstrak
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkritik terhadap disertasi berbahasa Inggris dan kemudian menawarkan metodologi baru. Fokus penelitian adalah kritik terhadap disertasi yang ditulis oleh Nahid Saeid Bashatah dengan judul tentang framing perempuan Muslim Arab Saudi yang digambarkan oleh media Inggris. Penelitian ini hanya menggunakan pendekatan penelitian kepustakaan. Kritik terhadap disertasi hanya dilakukan dengan membandingkannya dengan penelitian lain yang berkaitan dengan analisis framing. Setelah itu, ditafsirkan dan kemudian ditawarkan metodologi baru. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah framing analysis dan content analysis yang selama ini kontradiktif tetapi dapat digabungkan menjadi satu model, yaitu post-konstruktivisme. Model ini merupakan penggabungan dari paradigma positivisme dengan paradigma konstruktivisme.
