Self-Efficacy Sebagai Mediator Antara Phubbing Terhadap Prokrastinasi Akademik Siswa SMA

Abstract


Kemajuan teknologi memberikan dampak yang signifikan terhadap perkembangan tersebut. Mengenai era digital, karena manusia dan teknologi kini saling terkait erat.Penelitian ini berusaha untuk mengidentifikasi Self-Efficacy sebagai mediator antara phubbing terhadap prokrastinasi akademik Siswa SMA Negeri Kabupaten Demak. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah SMA Negeri Kabupaten Demak dengan jumlah sampel 635 siswa dan diambil dengan teknik Isaac dan Michael  berdasarkan hasil dari analisis data sebagai berikut: (1) adanya pengaruh positif Phubbing terhadap Prokrastinasi Akademik. Hasil analisis membukatikan bahwa semakin tinggi nilai perilaku Phubbing maka semakin tinggi juga Prokrastinasi akademik pada siswa (2) adanya pengaruh negatif Phubbing terhadap Self-efficacy. Hasil analisis membukatikan bahwa semakin tinggi phubbing maka semakin rendah Self-efficacy pada siswa; (3) adanya pengaruh negative Self-efficacy terhadap Prokrastinasi Akademik. Hasil tersebut membuktikan bahwa semakin tinggi Self-Efficacy maka semakin rendah perilaku Prokrastinasi Akademik (4) Phubbing memiliki efek tidak langsung terhadap Prokrastinasi Akademik melalui self-efficacy. Implikasi lebih lanjut dari penelitian ini disajikan dalam bab pembahasan.
