Abstract


Perceraian adalah pemutusan perkawinan yang sah dan bukan sesuatu yang dipersiapkan oleh pasangan, melainkan akibat dari penderitaan dan emosi yang menyakitkan yang dialami oleh pasangan tersebut. Perceraian mempengaruhi kesejahteraan individu, seperti depresi, kesepian, merasa terisolasi, marah, sulit membangun harga diri, bahkan menyalahkan diri sendiri. Self-compassion adalah perasaan positif, yaitu proses pemahaman dan keterbukaan terhadap diri sendiri ketika menghadapi kegagalan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendapatkan gambaran self-compassion pada orang dewasa pasca perceraian. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Partisipan dalam penelitian ini adalah 4 (empat) orang dewasa yang telah bercerai dan belum menikah lagi. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara semi terstruktur dan metode analisis data menggunakan analisis tematik. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan tema-tema yang sejalan dengan aspek self-compassion seperti self-kindness, self-judgment, commonhuman, mindfulness, dan over-identification.
